Why is Cosco recalling the Options 5 High Chair?
Cosco and the CPSC received reports that the seats can separate from the frame and fall to the ground, or can slip from their set height position to the lowest position or fall to the ground. Additionally, some seats were sold with metal restraint anchor that can slip throught the back of the seat allowing the child to fall to the ground. Cosco is urging consumers to order a free repair kit by clicking on the "To Order Repair Kit" link on the left.
In many incidents in the recline position, the handle was not over the frame of the high chair. Cosco is urging consumers with questions regarding assembly and use to click on the "What do I do until my repair kit arrives?" or the "High Chair Instruction" links to the left.
