And the winner is...
...Alyssa Fudge of Jacksonville, Florida. Alyssa will receive a $10,000 scholarship from Cosco as the lucky winner of Coscos 1999 College Scholarship Contest.
Richanda Fudge, Alyssas mother, commented that she was very excited when she was notified about winning Coscos Grand Prize. She also expressed relief that she will now have an easier time putting two children through college. Alyssa and her twin brother Treyvon were born two minutes apart on June 26, 1999 to parents Travis and Richanda Fudge. Alyssa is the elder twin.
Richanda learned about the sweepstakes from a parenting magazine. When asked whether she thought she would ever win the scholarship, she commented, No, I didnt expect to win. However, you must be in it to win it, right?"
Richanda has many potential colleges in mind for Alyssa and Treyvon, but she emphasized Its absolutely necessary they go to the colleges of their choice. Richanda went to Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, FL, but explains that it will be their own decisions when the time comes.
The Fudges have purchased many of Coscos baby products, including two infant car seats, two high chairs, two swings, and two walkers. When asked what the familys favorite Cosco product was, she stated that the twins double stroller is great. She also added, All of Coscošs products are wonderful!
